Ministry of National Defense Explained the Matter Regarding “United States Armed Forces Battleship and Frigate Passing Through the Taiwan Strait” in a Press Release. (March 25th, 2019)
The Ministry of National Defense has stated today (25th) that one of each United States Armed Forces battleship and frigate have navigated northbound through the Taiwan Strait yesterday (24th) from the southwestern waters of Taiwan.
The Ministry of National Defense pointed out that citizens can be reassured that the Republic of China Armed Forces have grasped on the situation when the United States Armed Forces warships navigated through the surrounding waters of Taiwan using joint intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance to ensure the safety of sea area and regional stability, and found no abnormalities.
